So obviously it’s been a while since I’ve updated the website and that’s on me, life has been busier lately with lots of things in motion.
First of all, the GoPro Max 2 was finally released and I’ve been experimenting with that quite a lot, I even took it to Florida for some exclusive testing (ie. It was too rainy and cold in the PNW to get any good footage!). You can watch my review on YT regarding my first impressions by clicking the picture below!
Secondly, although I predicted the Hero 14 would not be released in 2025, a lot of people are under the impression it will be arriving early 2026! Personally I don’t think so, I think GoPro will stick with their release schedule and it will arrive in September as per their traditional release schedule. Either way, we can finally expect a 1″ sensor and the GP3 chip!
Finally, it looks like the DJI ban is now in place and this affects all “New” drones that DJI have plans to release. Yes, you can still buy and purchase previous models here in the USA as the ban is not retroactive. However, getting a replacement drone courtesy of the DJI replacement program is still up for debate. Plus, if the ban does become retroactive (which is could at any stage) then DJI drone uses could be in real trouble (even an app update could ground current drones). Looks like now is a good time to invest in some REALLY long selfie sticks to fake those drone shots!
New Year, New Website and hopefully more exciting news and updates to come here on DemonView.com! Now….. who’s looking forward to seeing the next Insta360 offering? April? May? It’s not that far away!
